  •  Welcome Hiram! MonaVie is a wonderful thing!! How long have you been a distribtor and do you go to any meetings?

    Dana (Mar 16, 2008 4:14 PM)
  •  petition i signed at the caucus needed my birth date. i asked if they really wanted my "rebirth date" as that seems to be the litmus test for true conservatism. defecit has gone from 1-9.5 trillion in 18 years of reagan/bush. that is generational rape. i loved john mccain as a fiscal conservative. i dislike john mccain as an empire builder. the siege of mecca is a primer on the birth of al queda (0 iraqis). american theocracy deals with radical religion, debt and oil dependence. peace.

  •  I used to like John McCain. He was against wasteful spending
and unwilling to tow the party line. Now he is the protagonist of
American Empire in Iraq and can?t admit there were no terrorists
the until we hung out the Shell No Pest Strip to attract the flies.
Now he bites his tongue and supports tax breaks for the rich,
so when they get caught up in the rapture they can leave the
debt to the poor suckers ?left behind?. Ughhhh

  •  I have news for you, Hillary Clinton is lying about wanting us out of Iraq. She's committed to building permanent bases there. Barack Obama has no idea what he's doing. He says he wants to have a phased withdrawl of 2 brigades a month. That's impossible. The Joint Chiefs would laugh in his face. If we're going to have to be there, we need someone who knows what he's doing. I trust McCain's experience. He could stand up to the Military-Industrial Complex if need be.

  •  It's a really disturbing trend that this country is getting involved in so many undeclared wars. What's worse is when they fight wars with no intention of winning like Korea and Vietnam. Don't cross the imaginary line! Still, we're there now and we're winning. What happens if we leave and Islamic extremists take control? That's a real possibility. Why go back later like Obama says? Let's finish the thing now with a victory.

    Rich Varga (Mar 09, 2008 3:21 PM)
  •  I never thought we should have gone to war. Containment was working. If you asked me a year ago I would have said we should leave Iraq. It does seem however that the surge is working. McCain was right. I'm willing to give him a chance. Unlike Bush, it seems that he wants to fight to win. Bush seems satisfied with drifting along year to year...

    Rich Varga (Mar 07, 2008 8:07 PM)
  •  Hiram, what do you think we should do about the war?

  •  I worked many long days and hours on this bill along with Sentator McCain, and several other groups who had coordinated efforts. As I was doing this, I was tuned into C-Span for the minute by minute coverage of the debate of the bill, and was in DC for the final vote and passage of it. I felt strongly that the bill must pass due to the cash flow in and out of our political system which has trashed our democracy. Are you at all aware of how destructive lining political pockets is? Are you?

    D. Aldinger (Mar 07, 2008 9:49 AM)
  •  By CFR I assume you are referring to campaign finance reform. You know it boggles the mind when people refuse to fight for their democracy Someone like McCain pushes forth a bill that will at least make an effort to clean up the cash and corruption in our political system and the best you can come up with is constitution and free speech rights. Free speech is violated without CFR. Unless you represent corporate or special interets this should bother you. That it doesn't speaks VOLUMES.

    D. Aldinger (Mar 05, 2008 11:30 AM)
  •  Please! Ron Paul is not the only person to care about our freedom! John McCain is an American war hero! He also tried to give us campaign finance reform. You guys can yell to the top of your lungs all day about the Bilderbergers, but nothing is going to change until we take special interest $ out of the political process. We need to have publicly financed elections -that's the first step.

  •  Hey Hiram: thanks for the thoughts see you at the next event.
