The Cumberland County McCain Team would like to invite you to join us at our mid-summer organizational meeting for volunteers on Wednesday, July 9, at 7:00 p.m., at the New Kingstown Fire Hall in New Kingstown, PA

The purpose of this meeting is to start to organize our pre-election grassroots activities and continue to construct our Election Day plan of action. We have a number of upcoming fairs that we need to target, as well as door-to-door weekends and phone-banks. Some collateral materials (yard signs and bumper stickers) will be supplied to those people who attend this meeting. We hopefully will be joined by staffers from the PA McCain organization and GOP Victory Operations.

Any interested Republican, Democrat or Independent is encouraged to attend, so bring a friend! It's important to have a large number of people there. Please confirm if you are able to make it. If you're willing to bring a bottle of soda or bag of pretzels/chips, please let me know.

If you're willing to help cover the cost of renting the fire hall, your in-kind contribution would be most graciously welcomed.

  “ Great turnout! We had more people than the last Cumberland Meet-up. A lot of new people were there, including 4 high school students and a dozen or so veterans. John Case from Victory 2008 gave a good Get Out the Vote presentation to explain to newcomers about volunteer roles before and on Election Day. Overall a great meeting! ”
